Position Summary:

The Local Data Analyst (LDA) plays a critical role in Clinical Drug Supply (CDS) by managing and maintaining master data in SAP and related systems, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely data across the supply chain. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity of master data used to drive operational processes and decisions, contributing to the successful delivery of drugs to the right patients at the right time.

As a key technical resource, the LDA will be responsible for maintaining local plant master data, managing system changes, and supporting process improvements that optimize data management practices. The LDA will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and regulatory compliance, while also troubleshooting issues and driving efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Maintenance & Management: Create, update, and maintain local master data in SAP and other associated systems, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and alignment with global standards.
  • Master Data Procedures: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for data management processes.
  • Impact Analysis: Evaluate the impact of local and global changes on master data and ensure alignment with SAP and other integrated systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives to improve data maintenance efficiency, including developing data flows and leveraging tools and reports for tracking data accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Identify and resolve SAP or system-related issues, logging incidents, investigating root causes, and implementing solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure data management processes comply with regulatory requirements and support change management processes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure effective data solutions, and contribute to global initiatives for master data management.
  • Supply Chain Integration: Support data management processes related to supply chain operations, ensuring accurate data integration with relevant systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., supply chain, computer systems, engineering, science) or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or data management, ideally in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
    • Experience with SAP and master data management processes.
    • Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving technical or operational issues related to data systems.
    • Ability to maintain focus on data integrity and quality across complex systems.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability in a fast-paced, non-routine work environment.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain operations and integration with systems such as CT-Win, Trackwise, Veeva Vaults, and Precisely.
  • Certifications: APICS certification is preferred.
  • Motivation & Learning: Demonstrated self-motivation with a strong desire to educate oneself and others.

  • Work Shift: Full-time, normal work hours.
  • Travel Requirement: 5-10% of travel may be required.
