Associate Medical Reviewer – Novo Nordisk, Bangalore

Job Summary:
Novo Nordisk is hiring an Associate Medical Reviewer for its Centralised Monitoring Unit in Bangalore. This role is essential to ensuring patient safety and maintaining protocol adherence through medical review and data validation across global clinical trials. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth medical review of clinical trial data across therapy areas.

  • Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, and trial protocols.

  • Collaborate with Data Managers, Trial Managers, and Medical Specialists.

  • Present findings to Medical Specialists for clinical decision-making.

  • Document reviews in the sponsor Trial Master File (TMF).

  • Resolve data inconsistencies and ensure quality of medical data.

  • Contribute to trial planning activities related to medical review.

  • Train new team members on project-specific protocols and processes.

  • Review and provide feedback on Medical Monitoring Plans and displays.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • MBBS or MD in any clinical specialty.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical drug development, such as medical data review, medical monitoring, or safety surveillance.

  • 1–2 years of project management experience is essential.

  • Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial processes.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Strong medical terminology and analytical skills.
