Job Title: Associate Healthcare Research and Data Analyst

We are looking for an Associate Healthcare Research and Data Analyst to join our Medtech Insights team in Bengaluru, India. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to market research, competitive analysis, clinical trial analysis, financial forecasting, and insight generation within the medical devices and healthcare markets.
Conduct primary and secondary market research in the medical device and healthcare sectors.
Perform competitive analysis, clinical trial analysis, and financial forecasting.
Produce comprehensive market research reports and deliver custom consulting projects.
Use MS Excel and database programs to manage large amounts of data.
Model and forecast markets, integrating disparate data points into a unified market model.
Interview industry participants and medical professionals, and oversee online and in-person physician surveys.
Search proprietary research libraries for relevant data and use financial/regulatory documents to find medical approval data.
Identify data trends, outliers, and potential market disruptions using time-series tables and graphs.
Write in-depth competitive analyses based on primary and secondary data.
Create hypotheses on market and competitive dynamics based on data findings.
Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare.
Fresher or at least 1 year of relevant job experience in secondary market research, forecasting, etc.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle tight deadlines.
Business acumen to support sales success, improvements, and stakeholder relationships.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment to produce high-quality work.
Well-developed therapy expertise in at least one area of the medical device market or related work experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including using pivot tables and advanced formulas.
Knowledge of SQL/Python.
The Medtech Insights team is composed of subject matter experts responsible for producing Medtech 360 syndicated market research reports and conducting custom consulting projects in the medical device market. The team leverages real-world healthcare data, in-depth interviews, and in-house expertise to help medical device companies make critical business decisions.
Hybrid work model.
12 PM - 9 PM IST to facilitate overlap with teams in Toronto and Barcelona.
