Associate Director – Medical Science Liaison (Hematology & Radioligand Therapies) – Mid-Atlantic (Remote)

Location: Remote – Covering Virginia, DC, NJ, PA, DE, MD
Salary Range: $145,500 – $213,400 annually

Work Mode: Remote with up to 60% travel


Job Summary

Lilly is hiring an experienced Associate Director – Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Hematologic Malignancies and Radioligand Therapies for its Oncology division. This field-based role will focus on scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, and strategic insight gathering across the Mid-Atlantic region. Ideal for clinical professionals with deep oncology experience and strong communication skills.

This is a remote opportunity with extensive travel (up to 60%) to engage with key scientific experts and clinical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a scientific expert supporting clinical inquiries on hematologic malignancies and theragnostic/radioligand therapies

  • Build and maintain relationships with academic and community-based Scientific Experts (SEs)

  • Serve as the main point of contact between external SEs and internal Lilly teams

  • Deliver timely, evidence-based medical information

  • Gather and communicate actionable clinical insights to shape R&D and business strategies

  • Represent Lilly at scientific conferences and educational forums

  • Ensure compliance with administrative, procedural, and legal guidelines


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • PharmD, MD, or PhD in a health science field with 2–3 years of clinical experience

  • OR bachelor’s/master’s in health sciences (e.g., RN, RPh, NP) with 5+ years in oncology

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license

  • Strong expertise in hematology or oncology; radioligand/theragnostic exposure preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and scientific communication skills

  • Proficient in tools like VEEVA, Microsoft Office, PubMed

  • Proven ability to manage field-based responsibilities and multitask independently

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
