Role Overview

The Associate Clinical Specialist supports clinical education, product expertise, sales execution, and customer service to ensure optimal outcomes for Medtronic customers. This is an entry-level specialist role focused on clinical support, sales collaboration, and field-based activities.


A Day in the Life – Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support & Education

  • Provide on-site clinical education and consulting to healthcare professionals.

  • Support field personnel to ensure best outcomes for Medtronic customers.

  • Serve as a technical resource for specific medical devices or solutions.

Sales & Business Collaboration

  • Partner with sales teams to execute sales plans for one or more business units.

  • Work closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and Regional Sales teams for case support.

  • Identify and drive growth opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Clinical Support teams.

Customer Engagement & Awareness

  • Participate in conventions, meetings, and forums to increase product awareness.

  • Provide case support and customer guidance to improve device adoption and usage.

Project & Professional Contribution

  • Deliver assigned projects with adherence to guidelines and policies.

  • Use specialized knowledge to contribute to project design, implementation, and follow-through.

  • May mentor junior colleagues or guide lower-level professionals.
