Job Summary

Cencora is hiring an Assistant Pharmacist in Bengaluru to ensure regulatory compliance and support pharmaceutical operations. This full-time role involves managing shipment releases, quality checks, depot activities, and adherence to global standards like ICH, GMP, GCP, and GDP. Candidates with a diploma or equivalent qualification in pharmaceutical services are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and sign operational jobs under supervision of the Depot Pharmacist/Manager.

  • Release shipments for distribution while ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Manage product status changes physically and in system as per client instructions.

  • Conduct quality checks for relabeling processes when required.

  • Act as Deputy Depot Pharmacist when necessary, supporting depot operations.

  • Ensure compliance with ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP, and local health regulations.

  • Oversee daily depot activities, including reception, storage, and shipment of products.

  • Conduct periodic self-inspections to ensure facility compliance with SOPs.

  • Identify and report issues related to personnel or schedule management.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in pharmaceutical services (as per local regulations).

  • Preferred experience in warehousing and/or dispensing operations.

  • Strong knowledge of imports, exports, and statutory requirements.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to work autonomously, with problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, numerical ability, and customer-focused approach.
