About the Job

We are driving a digital transformation in clinical operations, leveraging AI technologies to revolutionize how clinical studies are prepared and executed. This role is central to designing and leading AI-enabled operational strategies that improve efficiency, accelerate drug development, and enhance patient outcomes.

As an AI-Enabled Early Operational Strategy Leader, you will act as a catalyst for digital innovation, applying AI solutions to optimize clinical trial preparation and execution.


Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence the digital transformation of early operations strategy.

  • Develop AI-powered prescriptive models to determine optimal actions and improve operational efficiency.

  • Rotate through various Early Operations Strategy roles to propose and implement digital solutions globally.

  • Generate operational insights to support indication-level and study-level planning.

  • Develop and execute transformation plans to address shared challenges with digital solutions.

  • Drive modernization and acceleration of clinical trial preparation.

  • Contribute to Sanofi’s mission of accelerating drug development.

  • Lead AI-powered solution identification, assessment, and implementation.

  • Build business cases, apply go/no-go criteria, and measure ROI for AI initiatives.

  • Coordinate data-driven feasibility activities (eHealth record analysis, site identification, enrollment modeling).

  • Evaluate and manage AI vendors, ensuring seamless integration.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI technologies in operational workflows.

  • Present actionable insights to study teams and leadership.

  • Stay up to date with emerging AI trends and their applications in healthcare.

  • Oversee strategic management of indications, programs, and studies.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital adoption.


About You

Education

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience implementing AI-enabled solutions in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.

  • Clinical trial conduct or related experience (preferred).

  • Proven record of implementing AI/ML solutions in healthcare or clinical development.

  • Strong English communication (verbal & written).

  • Experience with business case development and ROI measurement for digital initiatives.

  • Demonstrated change management leadership in tech implementations.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies and applications in pharma clinical operations.

  • Data science expertise, with ability to deliver actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools.

  • Knowledge of clinical development processes and regulatory requirements.
