Pediatric Associates is seeking a X-Ray Lab Technician to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. This opportunity includes a $3000 Sign-On Bonus for new hires. As a key member of the clinical support team, you will perform diagnostic medical x-rays and laboratory procedures, ensuring high-quality care for pediatric patients.
✔️ Perform diagnostic medical x-rays, following protocols for pediatric patients
✔️ Report final radiology reports, including positive and critical findings
✔️ Conduct laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry
✔️ Perform phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks
✔️ Ensure quality control and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment
✔️ Sustain inventory of lab supplies and ensure timely reordering
✔️ Communicate test results promptly to healthcare clinicians, especially critical or out-of-range values
✔️ Associate degree required
✔️ Graduation from an accredited Radiology program (RT or BMO) required
✔️ Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
✔️ Phlebotomy certification required
✔️ CPR certification required
✔️ 1+ year of experience with x-ray in a healthcare setting
✔️ Experience with laboratory procedures and phlebotomy preferred
✔️ Adhere to information security policies to protect sensitive data
✔️ Ability to work in indoor settings, operate computers, and use manual dexterity
✔️ Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, and bending
