Job Summary

The Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun Pharmaceutical’s branded dermatology portfolio and driving business opportunities within physician offices, clinics, and institutions specializing in medical dermatology. This individual will develop and implement effective territory business plans aimed at achieving sales goals. The role involves coordinating with internal teams (e.g., marketing, field reimbursement) and external stakeholders to drive the acceptance of promoted products in a designated geographical area.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales goals and objectives.
    • Promote branded dermatology products within the designated territory.
    • Drive business in targeted physician offices and medical dermatology institutions.
  • Collaboration:
    • Integrate and collaborate with the HQ Commercial Team (e.g., marketing) and field-based employees (e.g., field reimbursement managers).
    • Work closely with matrix teams to ensure effective product promotion.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
    • Ensure that promoted products are effectively accepted and utilized within the territory.
  • Reporting & Administration:
    • Use CRM tools, sales data, and reports to track progress and performance.
    • Complete timely call and expense reporting.
    • Manage promotional budgets within the territory.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience:
    • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate, innovate, and adapt to changing environments.
    • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to deliver results.
    • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
    • 3+ years of medical dermatology sales experience.
    • Experience in complex market access environments.
    • Product launch experience.
    • Experience promoting high-science products.
    • Background in highly competitive sales environments.
