Core Job Responsibilities

  1. Territory Planning and Strategy Execution

    • Analyze and create a working plan for the assigned territory based on data and market research.
    • Monitor and follow up on targets to ensure achievement within the territory.
    • Implement and execute strategic initiatives effectively.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including doctors, stockists, retailers, chemists, and institutional pharmacies.
  3. Process Discipline

    • Adhere to timelines and maintain discipline across multiple internal processes.
  4. Communication and Adaptability

    • Exhibit strong verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
    • Adapt quickly to changes in the market environment.
  5. Clinic and Product Knowledge

    • Deliver effective in-clinic presentations.
    • Demonstrate a basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the Abbott product portfolio.
  6. Promotional Activities

    • Organize Camps (CME) as per divisional strategy and customer requirements.
    • Conduct prescription audits for Abbott and competitor brands.
  7. Order Booking and Target Achievement

    • Generate Product Orders (POBs) for Abbott brands in alignment with business plans.
  8. Basic Computer Skills

    • Proficiency in using Excel, Word, and email for reporting and communication.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) or Pharmacy (B.Pharma.).
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience preferred.
    • Freshers with excellent communication and analytical skills may also apply.

  • Ability to analyze market data and plan effectively.
  • Relationship-building skills for engaging with multiple stakeholders.
