Role Overview:

As a Statistical Programmer II, you will contribute to advanced statistical programming within clinical research, focusing particularly on Oncology studies. You will be responsible for leading one study under supervision and providing expert input in programming and data analysis using R and SQL.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and propose improvements to current programming best practices

  • Adhere to internal standards while maintaining awareness of evolving industry guidelines

  • Apply strong programming and domain expertise to support studies

  • Independently lead a study with guidance as needed

  • Ensure quality and compliance in the delivery of programming outputs


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in R and SQL programming

  • Oncology domain expertise, including databases like Flatiron and COTA

  • Understanding of oncology-specific analyses such as:

    • Line of Therapy algorithms

    • Survival analysis

    • Various statistical modeling techniques

  • Experience with Analytic Datasets and patient cohort development

  • Preferred: Familiarity with R Shiny or Instant Health Data (IHD) platforms
