Job Summary
The Statistical Programmer is responsible for leading and supporting statistical programming activities across clinical studies, regulatory submissions, and post-hoc analyses. The role requires expertise in SAS programming, CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM), regulatory submission requirements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Programming Leadership
Lead statistical programming activities across multiple studies, compounds, and therapeutic areas.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality programming outputs for clinical development projects.
Collaborate with biostatistics, data management, medical writing, and regulatory teams.
CDISC & Dataset Development
Develop and maintain SDTM and ADaM specifications.
Create SDTM mapping specifications according to CDISC standards.
Develop and validate SDTM and ADaM datasets using SAS.
Statistical Outputs
Program and review Tables, Listings, and Figures (TLFs).
Support study reports, regulatory submissions, and ad hoc analyses.
Review Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and TLF specifications.
Regulatory Submission Support
Prepare and manage regulatory submission packages including:
Annotated CRF (aCRF)
Define.xml
cSDRG
ADRG
ARM
Support submissions to regulatory agencies such as:
FDA
EMA
PMDA
Address health authority queries and requests.
Standards & Process Improvement
Develop and maintain programming standards, SOPs, and macros.
Contribute to departmental initiatives and process improvements.
Participate in SME (Subject Matter Expert) activities and training programs.
Mentorship & Team Development
Mentor junior programmers and new hires.
Provide technical guidance on SAS programming and CDISC implementation.
Promote best practices and knowledge sharing across teams.
