Role Overview
The Research Scientist (SRA) in Chemical Research focuses on developing and commercializing new human nutrition products. The role involves end-to-end product innovation, process development, route scouting, scale-up, and commercialization while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
New Product Development
Design and develop new human nutrition products aligned with market and customer needs.
Lead innovation in food ingredients, nutrition solutions, and functional additives.
Support commercialization of new products from lab to production scale.
Process Development & Optimization
Develop and optimize chemical and nutritional product processes.
Conduct route scouting for cost-effective and scalable synthesis pathways.
Improve yield, efficiency, and cost structure of processes.
Laboratory & R&D Execution
Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results.
Improve laboratory efficiency through better techniques, tools, and methods.
Maintain documentation, reporting, and experimental records.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain zero non-compliance tolerance in R&D operations.
Support budgeting and planning activities for R&D projects.
Collaboration & Scale-Up
Work with manufacturing, QA/QC, and business teams for technology transfer.
Drive process scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial scale.
Support cross-functional teams for cost optimization and product improvement.
