    As a Senior Statistical Programmer, you will be responsible for generating and validating datasets, tables, graphs, and listings for clinical trials. You will use SAS and R programming to meet statistical analysis plan specifications, ensuring high-quality, timely outputs. You will also mentor junior programmers and contribute to the development of programming specifications, tools, and training materials.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Programming & Validation:

      • Develop and execute custom code using SAS (and R) to generate statistical analysis outputs like summary tables, data listings, and graphs.
      • Ensure programming outputs meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
      • Perform validation programming and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with other team members.

    2. Project Management:

      • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
      • Oversee programming activities and direct programming personnel to ensure timely delivery of outputs.

    3. Collaboration & Mentoring:

      • Act as the lead programmer and mentor junior programming staff, providing feedback and training.
      • Participate in sponsor meetings and provide expertise during bid defense meetings.
      • Develop training materials, conduct sessions, and help integrate new team members into the process.

    4. Documentation & Compliance:

      • Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring readiness for audits and inspections.
      • Review project documentation like Statistical Analysis Plans and programming specifications to improve programming efficiency.

    5. Regulatory and Industry Compliance:

      • Ensure all deliverables comply with regulatory standards and internal SOPs.
      • Contribute to the development of internal standards, programming tools, and macros for improved efficiency.

    6. Effective Communication:

      • Actively contribute to internal meetings, providing status updates and resolving any programming issues.
      • Foster a collaborative working environment by communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • Education:

      • Undergraduate degree, preferably in scientific or statistical disciplines, or equivalent programming experience.

    • Experience:

      • Extensive programming experience with SAS and R in a clinical trial environment, with expertise in generating datasets and statistical outputs.
      • Experience in managing complex projects, leading teams, and mentoring junior staff.

    • Skills:

      • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
      • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
