Job Summary:

ICON plc is seeking a highly motivated Shift Supervisor/Clinical Lead to join its Early Phase Research unit in San Antonio. This on-site, weekend night shift position offers an opportunity to lead clinical trial execution in a dynamic and innovative healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in clinical trial operations, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to support the advancement of early phase research.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of clinical trials.

  • Develop study protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Manage cross-functional teams and mitigate operational risks.

  • Oversee study timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Act as liaison with sponsors, investigators, and regulatory authorities.

  • Mentor and supervise clinical team members throughout study lifecycles.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (RN also accepted).

  • Extensive experience in clinical research and study management.

  • Deep knowledge of regulatory guidelines, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills.

  • Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
