Role Overview
The Senior Technology Director will lead GE HealthCare's enabling technology platforms, driving breakthrough innovations across AI, biosciences, microelectronics, sensing technologies, mechatronics, power electronics, thermal systems, and advanced engineering domains. The role combines technical vision, organizational leadership, technology strategy, and external partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Research Leadership
Define and execute long-term technology research roadmaps.
Align innovations with clinical and business needs.
Identify emerging technologies and build new strategic capabilities.
Lead resource planning and capability development.
Drive publications, patents, and scientific thought leadership.
Develop future scientific and technical leaders.
Business Alignment
Build strong relationships with GEHC business units and stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between research activities and product roadmaps.
Translate complex technical and business challenges into impactful solutions.
External Partnerships & Funding
Secure external funding through agencies such as:
NIH
BARDA
DARPA
ARPA-H
Establish collaborations with academic, industrial, and government partners.
Expand GE HealthCare's innovation ecosystem.
Technology & Team Leadership
Lead multidisciplinary teams spanning:
