Role Overview
The Senior Medical Coding Specialist plays a key role in coding medical data accurately within clinical trials. The role requires close collaboration with clinical teams and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately code medical terms, diagnoses, and procedures using systems like MedDRA and WHO Drug.
Ensure consistency and accuracy across multiple clinical trials.
Resolve coding discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Maintain updated knowledge of coding standards and regulations.
Contribute to the development of coding conventions and improve processes.
Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
Experience: 2–6 years in medical coding (MedDRA and WHO Drug systems).
