Department: External Supply QA (ES QA) India, Novo Nordisk Quality GBS (NNQ GBS)

The Position:

Novo Nordisk is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager - ES QA to lead and expand the External Supply QA team in India. This leadership role will focus on managing the team, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the strategic development of quality assurance practices for external suppliers and contract manufacturers globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead the ES QA India team, focusing on talent development and managing resources. Ensure alignment with the company’s goals and strategies.
Strategic Oversight: Take responsibility for the development and execution of quality activities in the ES QA India team. Oversee quality assurance operations for external supply.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key member of both the ES QA Global and NNQ-GBS management teams, engaging with stakeholders across regions to ensure high-quality performance standards.
Budget & Resource Management: Control the budget for the team and ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet organizational needs.
Global Interactions: Foster collaboration with global teams, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to ensure consistency in quality processes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field with at least 10 years of experience in pharma/healthcare, including 5+ years in leadership or people management.
Experience: Extensive experience managing suppliers and contract manufacturers, with a strong background in quality and GxP processes. Prior experience in project management, negotiation, and decision-making is desirable.
Skills:
- Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on building and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication skills, fluent in English (both written and verbal), and adept at managing cross-functional and global interactions.
- Familiarity with QMS processes, drug development, and GxP regulations is highly beneficial.
