JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst / Analyst (Spanish or Italian Language Expert) to join our Medtech team in Bangalore. This role involves conducting market research, respondent recruitment, data collection, and project management within the medical devices and healthcare markets.

The Medtech team consists of 40 colleagues across global locations and specializes in market research and consulting related to medical device markets. The role requires fluency in Spanish or Italian and strong analytical and research skills.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • Graduate or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, OR
  • A degree in Spanish/Italian, Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in primary market research, respondent recruitment, data collection, or project management.
  • Experience in translation or interpretation (Spanish/Italian).
  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or consulting is a plus.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in Spanish or Italian (or both).
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Additional language proficiency (German/French) is a plus.

Key Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English & Spanish/Italian.
  • Excellent attention to detail, research skills, and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen to support sales, stakeholder management, and process improvements.
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling high-profile clients.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in at least one medical device therapeutic area.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data organization).
  • SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research & Data Analysis:

  • Conduct interviews with industry professionals and medical experts.
  • Oversee online and telephone physician surveys.
  • Search Clarivate’s proprietary research repository for relevant data.
  • Analyze financial, regulatory, and government documents to extract medical approval data.
  • Interpret qualitative data into quantitative insights.
  • Use MS Excel and database tools to handle and manipulate large datasets.
  • Identify and analyze trends in the medical device market by geography or specialty.

Project Execution & Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal analysts and external partners for data gathering.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Assist in risk management and problem-solving.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Medtech Team consists of data and subject matter experts responsible for:

  • Delivering data products related to medical device markets.
  • Conducting syndicated market research reports.
  • Managing custom consulting projects.

The team operates in three locations: Toronto (Canada), Bangalore (India), and Barcelona (Spain). They leverage real-world healthcare data, in-depth interviews, and industry expertise to support medical device companies in critical business decisions.
