Novo Nordisk, a global leader in healthcare, is looking for a Senior Global Project Manager to join our Real-World Evidence Operations team in the Regions & Operations Department of Global Medical Affairs, based in Bangalore. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic frameworks for real-world evidence (RWE) studies aligned with global business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize key research questions and design impactful studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative RWE strategies.

Project Management Excellence:

  • Lead and manage complex, global RWE studies from initiation through to closure.
  • Develop and execute robust project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery.

Regulatory and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP, ICH-GCP, GDPR) and ethical guidelines for RWE studies.
  • Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to obtain necessary approvals and maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and external partners.
  • Provide clear communication of project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Address challenges proactively, resolving conflicts to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Health Economics, Epidemiology, or Statistics.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, clinical research, or real-world evidence.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken English.

  • Proven success in leading complex global projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of real-world evidence methodologies and technologies.
