About the Role

The Senior Director oversees global medical affairs strategy and execution for Neuropsychiatry franchises. This position focuses on developing comprehensive medical strategies, leading a medical strategy team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure success.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead the medical strategy for Neuropsychiatry worldwide, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Manage medical budgets and ensure successful execution of targeted objectives.
  • Collaborate with global teams for congress strategies, training programs, and medical activities.

Medical Expertise & Collaboration:

  • Build relationships with global key opinion leaders and professional organizations.
  • Conduct WW advisory meetings with thought leaders to drive strategy.
  • Represent Medical Neuropsychiatry in cross-functional leadership forums.

Execution & Innovation:

  • Oversee Phase 4 studies, ISR plans, and publication strategies.
  • Drive data generation plans and establish BMS as a leader in Neuropsychiatry.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory standards, and compliance.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Required: M.D., D.O., Ph.D., or equivalent with 10+ years in pharma/biopharma.
  • Preferred: 4+ years in Neuropsychiatry-related medical affairs globally or in the U.S.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams globally.
  • Strategic Thinking: Expertise in aligning medical goals with overarching business objectives.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong skills in data analysis and product launch planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective teamwork across medical, commercial, and regulatory teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
