Job Purpose:

Lead the marketing strategy, planning, and execution for a key biologics brand, ensuring successful commercial performance and cross-functional alignment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations to establish accurate revenue forecasts.

  • Maximize the impact of customer touchpoints: Patient Support Programs, Field Force, Tele-sales, Digital.

  • Manage external agency partners to ensure effective promotional material delivery.

  • Optimize omnichannel marketing and develop targeted communication plans.

  • Conduct marketing analysis and convert insights into action plans and execution.

  • Support qualitative and quantitative market research initiatives to deepen market understanding.

  • Gather and share strategic insights from internal and external sources.

  • Lead brand strategy development including competitor analysis and positioning.

  • Plan and execute market segmentation and identify strategies to drive segment migration.

  • Develop and refine key brand messages.

  • Organize stakeholder communication platforms (e.g., speaker symposia, educational meetings).

  • Lead Advisory Boards with key customers and establish relationships with top opinion leaders across Canada.

  • Support training programs and facilitate regular team meetings.

  • Ensure effective communication within the sales, marketing, and medical teams.

  • Develop and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment and buy-in from brand teams and business units.

  • Actively participate in supply chain discussions to maintain product availability.

  • Develop training materials with support from training consultants.

Additional Responsibility (Customer-facing roles only):
Report any adverse events to the pharmacovigilance department within 1 business day.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in life sciences (e.g., Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biology, Medical Technology)

  • MBA or additional marketing/business training preferred

  • 7–10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience (Brand Manager, Sales Rep, or Sales Supervisor)

  • 5–7 years in Brand Management, including product launch experience

  • Skills:

    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving

    • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

    • Digital marketing, market research, and selling experience

    • Ability to motivate and collaborate across teams

    • Awareness of PAAB, IMC, and compliance standards

  • Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate level)


Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work model (3 days in office)

  • 30% travel required
