Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Alignments and Incentive Compensation is responsible for leading field force alignment and operations for US Animal Health. This role serves as the subject matter expert for customer alignment data and systems, ensuring accuracy for downstream consumption.

The individual will work closely with Incentive Compensation, Sales Leadership, Commercial Excellence, IT, and HR to administer Sales Incentive Compensation plans, including reporting, payout validations, presentations, and documentation. Additionally, the role will provide strategic technical and business translation support, process improvements, and customized communication for business stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Analysis:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for customer alignment data and downstream system consumption.
  • Support management with advanced ad-hoc requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Design sophisticated queries and develop automated reports.
  • Validate and improve reporting quality, encouraging team members to enhance output.
  • Investigate data quality issues, lead solution implementation, and provide progress updates.

Internal Control & Audit (Integrity, Delivery & Protect):

  • Ensure adherence to risk control checklists and assist with audit coordination.
  • Lead testing for Field Force Alignment and Incentive Compensation platforms, including enhancements and regression testing.
  • Conduct strategy testing, including setup, filters, calculations, and special conditions.
  • Support process audits as defined by leadership.
  • Serve as a compliance role model, adhering to guidelines and principles.

Continuous Improvement (Deliver & Seek):

  • Lead root cause analysis for issues affecting incentive compensation and field alignments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate proactively about system issues that may affect desired business outcomes.
  • Ensure approved processes are followed for system updates and changes.

Customer Support:

  • Guide and coach team members in resolving customer issues and inquiries.
  • Provide customer and field force alignment support with high service excellence.
  • Ensure a seamless experience for internal customers through ongoing improvements.
  • Build relationships with business partners to anticipate potential issues before they arise.
  • Act as a key resource for business users, helping them navigate alignment and incentive processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Finance, Sales Operations, Customer Service, or a relevant business field.
  • Extensive experience managing Field Force Alignments and Sales Incentive Compensation.
  • Strong background in Sales Operations.
  • Experience in Animal Health is a plus.

  • Experience in GIS software, SalesIQ reporting platforms, and downstream system integration is preferred.

  • Deliver high-quality assignments on time, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Provide quality assurance and testing support for data accuracy and process effectiveness.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
