🎯 Role Purpose

  • Develop nucleic acid-based formulations across various scales

  • Characterize formulations using both routine and advanced analytical methods

  • Support process transfer, scale-up, and troubleshooting of nanoparticle formulation processes

  • Communicate findings with internal and external partners


🧪 Key Responsibilities

  • Formulation Development: Design, implement, and troubleshoot experiments to optimize nucleic acid delivery formulations

  • Characterization: Perform analytical characterization of nanoparticles for in vitro and in vivo evaluation

  • Process Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scale-up, process transfer, and troubleshooting

  • Documentation: Prepare, review, and revise SOPs and experimental protocols

  • Innovation & Reporting: Communicate R&D findings and contribute to the development of well-characterized drug products


🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field

  • 2+ years of academic or employment experience with:

    • Preparation of nanoparticle-based formulations for in vitro and in vivo studies

    • Nucleic acid formulation, characterization, and wet lab biology techniques

    • Use of various mixing equipment and buffer exchange methods

    • Lipid nanoparticle characterization techniques

    • Preparing, reviewing, and revising SOPs and protocols

Additional Skills / Preferences

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

  • Effective communication and documentation skills

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

  • Part-time telecommuting may be permitted


💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $106,701
