About the Team: Antibody Team

The Antibody Team focuses on engineering and developing antibodies with an emphasis on reagent quality and specificity. Core activities include:

  • Antibody design, purification, and conjugation

  • Testing antibodies in various immuno-assays

  • Using advanced tools and technologies to support research applications

Work Schedule & Environment:

  • Schedule: Standard (Monday-Friday)

  • Work Environment: Office

Role & Responsibilities

Role:

The Scientist I will be a key contributor to the antibody development team, focusing on performance and specificity using molecular, protein, and cell biology methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to meet program goals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.

  • Stay updated with advancements in antibody development through literature reviews.

  • Compile and present data in written and oral formats during team meetings.

  • Ensure attention to detail and adhere to project schedules.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Qualifications: Master's degree with 0-3 years of experience or a fresh PhD (submitted within the last year) in Life Sciences, focusing on Molecular Biology, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), Immunology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of molecular biology techniques: PCR, primer/vector design, cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, and analysis.

  • Experience with Next-Generation Sequencing platforms, including library preparation and sequencing.

  • Familiarity with bioinformatics analysis of sequencing data and setting up analysis pipelines. Knowledge of Python or R is a plus.

  • Preferred: Experience with antibody sequencing.

  • Exposure to immunoassays such as ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.

  • Theoretical or practical knowledge of antibody development platforms is desirable.

  • Work or project experience (publications, project reports, or thesis work) supporting relevant skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and statistical software (Prism).
