About the Team:

The Antibody Team is dedicated to engineering and developing antibodies with a strong emphasis on reagent quality and specificity. The team focuses on designing, purifying, conjugating, and testing antibodies for a variety of immunoassay applications, using pioneering tools and technologies. The core objective is advanced product development and creation of product-specific information for research use.

Role Overview:

As a Scientist I, Protein Biology, you will be an integral member of the antibody development team, contributing to antibody performance and specificity using innovative molecular biology techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to meet program objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in antibody development through regular literature reviews.
  • Compile and present data in both written and oral formats. Actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
  • Pay close attention to detail and adhere to project timelines and schedules.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Master’s degree with 0-3 years of confirmed experience, or
    • PhD in a life sciences field with a focus on molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
  • Experience:
    • Project or work experience supporting skills such as publications, project reports, or thesis work.
    • Strong theoretical or practical experience in antibody development platforms, antibody design, engineering, or conjugation.
    • Hands-on experience with immunoassays (e.g., Western blotting, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, Flow cytometry, ELISA).
    • Expertise in proteins, including structure-function or mutational analysis, and molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and cloning.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    • Strong statistical knowledge and familiarity with statistical software (e.g., Prism).
    • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to work collaboratively with peers and leadership.
