Job Title: Safety Data Processor

Location: Bangalore, India

Job Description:

As a Safety Data Processor, you will review, assess, and process safety data from various sources across service lines. You'll distribute reports and data to both internal and external parties while adhering to applicable regulations, SOPs, and internal guidelines, with guidance from senior operation team members.

Essential Functions:

  • Prioritize and complete assigned training promptly.
  • Process safety data in accordance with regulations, guidelines, and project requirements.
  • Conduct pharmacovigilance activities, including collecting and tracking incoming Adverse Events (AEs) and endpoint information.
  • Determine the initial and update status of incoming events.
  • Perform database entry, coding of AEs and products, and writing narratives.
  • Assume additional workflow responsibilities as directed by operations team members or managers.
  • Meet expected productivity and quality standards.
  • Identify quality issues and communicate them to a senior team member or mentor.
  • Attend project team meetings and provide feedback on challenges, issues, or successes.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all people practices and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent in a scientific or healthcare discipline; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player towards common goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Capable of following instructions and working independently.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new skills across safety service lines.
  • Must demonstrate IQVIA core values in daily tasks.
  • Extensive use of a keyboard and telephone communication required; regular sitting for extended periods may be necessary.
  • Flexibility to operate in shifts and occasional travel may be required.
