Job Description: Safety Data Processing - Pharmacovigilance

Job Overview:
As a member of the pharmacovigilance team, you will review, assess, and process safety data from various sources. This data will be distributed to internal and external parties following applicable regulations, SOPs, and internal guidelines, with support and guidance from senior operations team members.

Essential Functions:

  • Complete assigned training on time.
  • Process safety data according to regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
  • Perform pharmacovigilance activities, including collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AEs) and endpoint information, determining the status of incoming events, database entry, coding AEs and products, and writing narratives.
  • Handle literature-related activities.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the operations team or manager.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Identify and report quality issues to a senior team member/mentor.
  • Attend project team meetings and provide feedback on challenges or successes.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all people practices and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent in scientific or healthcare discipline or allied life sciences.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to contribute towards achieving team goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions, utilize initiative, and work independently.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn new skills across safety service lines.
  • Demonstration of IQVIA core values in daily tasks.
  • Ability to manage extensive use of keyboard and communication tools.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and occasional travel.
