Job Summary:

As a Safety Associate Trainee – Medical Information, you will be responsible for providing medical information and support to healthcare professionals and patients. This role involves handling medical inquiries, adverse events (AEs), product quality complaints (PQs), and more, as part of a global 24/7 team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls/emails/faxes from healthcare professionals and patients.

  • Document Medical Inquiries (MI), Adverse Events (AEs), and Product Complaints (PQs) using structured forms.

  • Use medical knowledge to assess and categorize off-label usage and AE cases.

  • Forward documentation to the Safety team for processing.

  • Support internal teams by providing feedback on project metrics and identifying areas for process improvement.

  • Mentor junior team members and assist with resource allocation, depending on experience level.

  • Participate in training programs, working groups, and continuous learning initiatives.

  • Support a global workload (US, Canada, EU, India) by working in night shifts and weekends as per the 24/7 rotation.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific, healthcare, or allied life sciences field.

  • Experience:

    • 0–2 years in Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, or a related domain.

  • Language Skills:

    • Fluent in English and Hindi (both written and spoken).

    • Knowledge of other Indian or international languages is a plus.

  • Good understanding of medical terminology

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tools

  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive use of keyboard and computer systems

  • Prolonged periods of sitting

  • May require occasional travel

  • Must be willing to work rotational night shifts (24/7 model) including weekends

  • Five-day workweek with two rotational days off
