Job Title: Pharmacist - Rite Aid (Full-Time)

About the Job
Rite Aid is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to assist customers with their healthcare needs while maximizing health outcomes. In this role, you will fill prescriptions, provide clinical services, offer advice on therapies, and lead pharmacy associates. You will make frequent independent judgments and perform all tasks in compliance with Rite Aid policies and relevant state and federal laws. Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Advise customers on pharmacological and non-pharmacological options, ensuring effective communication. (15% of time)
  • Clinical Services: Provide services such as medication therapy management, immunizations, adherence support, and more, based on state regulations. (15% of time)
  • Retail & Business Growth: Utilize products and services to enhance customer satisfaction, grow scripts, and contribute to retail business success. (15% of time)
  • Prescription Accuracy: Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in line with DEA, state, and federal regulations. (15% of time)
  • Patient Care: Deliver care through in-person, telephonic, or digital communication, collaborating with providers and care teams for optimal health outcomes. (10% of time)
  • Leadership & Supervision: Assist the Pharmacy Manager in supervising pharmacy associates, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback. (10% of time)
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer concerns to ensure satisfaction. (5% of time)
  • Education & Training: Complete required company certifications and training, including Whole Being Health and regulatory compliance. (5% of time)
  • Pharmacy Security: Maintain appropriate security in the pharmacy department. (5% of time)
  • Standard Work: Follow established procedures for consistent and safe performance of duties. (5% of time)

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS in Pharmacy (Required), Pharm.D. (Preferred)
  • Licensing: Valid Pharmacist License in the state of practice (Required)
  • Certifications: Immunization Certification, CPR Certification (Required)

Pay Range:
$65.00 - $71.50 per hour
