Job Purpose

To support Analytical Research and Development activities enabling Chemical Development and API supply through routine and advanced analytical support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analysis of in-process samples and isolated intermediates/APIs using chromatographic and wet chemistry techniques

  • Interpret analytical results and plan experiments in coordination with chemistry teams

  • Conduct method development and qualification studies

  • Maintain and update electronic lab notebooks (ELN) as per GxP standards

  • Review documentation prepared by peers and junior analysts

  • Attend weekly project review meetings and contribute updates

  • Prepare analytical method reports and documentation

  • Lead or support workflow improvement initiatives within the lab

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of individual assignments

  • Supervise junior staff for timely completion of tasks

  • Prepare and present scientific updates in internal meetings and reports for internal/external stakeholders


Educational Qualification

  • Ph.D. (mandatory)


Experience Required

  • 0–2 years post-PhD experience


Technical / Functional Skills

  • Strong foundation in analytical chemistry

  • Hands-on understanding of:

    • Chromatographic techniques

    • Analytical data interpretation

  • Knowledge of:

    • Method development

    • Method qualification

    • Routine analytical testing

  • Experience with GxP-compliant documentation (electronic lab notebooks)

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results under timelines
