Lupin is hiring a Research Associate – Analytical Method Development to support injectable product development within its R&D division in Pune. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in analytical testing, method development, validation, and stability studies for sterile and injectable formulations.
The selected candidate will contribute to analytical strategy, reverse engineering projects, and regulatory-compliant validation activities while collaborating with manufacturing plants and CRO partners.
2 to 8 years of relevant experience in:
Analytical method development
Routine and stability testing for injectable formulations
Analytical method validation and transfer
Pharmaceutical laboratory instrumentation handling
Experience in sterile dosage forms and regulated market development projects will be preferred.
Master’s Degree (M.Sc.)
Postgraduate specialization in Analytical Chemistry
Develop and optimize analytical methods for injectable products
Perform testing including but not limited to:
Assay
Related Substances
Residual Solvents
In-vitro Release Studies
Particle Size Analysis
Molecular Weight Determination
Physico-chemical characterization
Operate and calibrate analytical instruments such as:
HPLC / UPLC
Gas Chromatography (GC)
Ion Chromatography
UV-Visible Spectrophotometer
Microscopy systems
Conduct reverse engineering studies to demonstrate product sameness
Explore analytical techniques to establish equivalence
Draft technical study reports and analytical findings
Support analytical method validation activities
Assist in analytical method transfer to manufacturing plants or CROs
Travel to plants and contract research organizations as required
Strong technical knowledge of analytical chemistry principles
Hands-on experience with injectable dosage forms
Good understanding of regulatory expectations for analytical documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
