Your Role at Vantive:
As a Research Associate I (Operation Executive), you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant management of laboratory inventory operations. This includes procuring, storing, issuing, and disposing of laboratory supplies, chemicals, reagents, and glassware in support of the analytical chemistry laboratory (BRD-4).


Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:

  • Manage procurement of chemicals, consumables, reagents, lab supplies, and glassware.

  • Obtain quotes for Capex, handle PR/PO generation, and track supplier deliveries.

  • Coordinate with logistics teams for shipments and returns (domestic and international).

  • Ensure timely communication on payment status, pending orders, and delivery schedules.

Inventory & Store Management:

  • Maintain chemical and reagent inventory records, including cylinder stock and physical verifications.

  • Store and issue materials using FIFO principles and adhere to Good Distribution Practices.

  • Inspect received materials and manage stock updates and vendor work orders.

  • Ensure minimum stock levels and proper documentation of usage, disposal, and stock levels.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and quality systems.

  • Implement Good Documentation Practices across inventory and procurement operations.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for licensing and regulatory compliance.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a science-related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of chemical handling, lab safety standards, inventory systems.

    • Proficiency in handling GRN, invoicing, vendor databases, and documentation practices.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to prioritize and multitask under project timelines.
