Job Description:

We are looking for a Research Associate I - Analytical with 1-8 years of experience in analytical chemistry. This position involves working closely with the synthetic team and applying problem-solving skills in analytical methodologies. The role requires handling and operating various analytical instruments, performing method development, and maintaining high standards of laboratory safety and quality. The ideal candidate will be proficient in techniques like HPLC, LCMS, and NMR, with an ability to carry out routine analysis independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and operate analytical instruments (HPLC, LCMS, NMR) for routine analysis.
  • Interaction with the synthetic team for analysis and problem-solving.
  • Conduct method development (desirable for HPLC/LCMS, but not mandatory).
  • Maintain, clean, and calibrate analytical instruments.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and ensuring smooth laboratory operations.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry, specifically with HPLC, LCMS, and NMR.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong hands-on experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, LCMS, NMR).
  • Knowledge of method development and its application in analytical techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and handle routine analysis.
  • Good understanding of laboratory safety practices and instrument maintenance.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot analytical challenges.
