Position Summary:

As a Research Associate I - Analytical in the Analytical Department, you will contribute to ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of laboratory analyses. You will work with advanced instrumentation, contribute to method development, and collaborate with the synthetic team. Your role will also involve handling and maintaining instruments, performing routine analyses, and ensuring that laboratory safety and documentation standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine analytical work using instruments such as HPLC, LCMS, NMR, or related purification techniques.
  • Collaborate with the synthetic team to solve analytical problems and provide insights on analysis.
  • Independently handle and operate the respective analytical instruments.
  • Maintain, clean, calibrate, and document activities related to laboratory instruments.
  • Support method development for analytical techniques, particularly HPLC/LCMS (desirable but not necessary).
  • Maintain the laboratory environment as a safe and effective working space.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualification:

  • M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry, specifically with HPLC, LCMS, NMR, or purification techniques.
  • Experience in method development on HPLC/LCMS is desirable but not essential.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in the use and maintenance of analytical instruments (HPLC, LCMS, NMR).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in analytical chemistry.
  • Ability to handle routine analysis independently.
  • Familiarity with instrument calibration, documentation, and lab safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
