Remote Pharmacovigilance Consultant

Location: Remote
Experience Required: 4 years in Pharmacovigilance

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or health-related field preferred; or at least six (6) years of relevant experience in a clinical setting or pharmaceutical company in lieu of a degree.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.

  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.

  • High level of initiative and independence.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using a personal computer for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Pharmacovigilance (PV) and non-PV vendor(s) operations, including adverse event handling and reporting.

  • Oversee general PV operations, supporting the global PV system.

  • Develop and maintain PV staff learning plans and assist with compliance activities and quality monitoring.

  • Manage the CTSA mailbox and serve as the PVRM Team Room administrator, handling file management, archiving, and document retention initiatives.

  • Contribute to audit and inspection preparedness, participating in cross-functional teams for PV audits and inspections.

  • Collaborate closely with Information Management (IM) and Safety Science groups to support PV activities.
