JOB OVERVIEW

The Regulatory Compliance New Associate will support Know Your Customer (KYC) and regulatory compliance operations by conducting customer identity verification, due diligence, risk assessment, screening, and compliance checks. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory adherence, preventing financial crimes, and maintaining compliance standards for global clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• KYC Screening & Customer Verification

  • Perform customer identity verification activities.

  • Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) screening processes.

  • Verify customer information against regulatory requirements.

  • Support onboarding and maintenance of customer/business relationships.

  • Ensure compliance with KYC policies and procedures.

• Risk Assessment & Due Diligence

  • Perform customer due diligence (CDD) activities.

  • Support enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews where required.

  • Assess customer risk profiles based on available information.

  • Identify potential compliance and regulatory risks.

  • Review customer documentation for completeness and accuracy.

• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.

  • Support governance and control activities.

  • Follow standard operating procedures and compliance guidelines.

  • Maintain regulatory documentation and records.

  • Assist in meeting business and regulatory requirements.

• Screening & Alert Management

  • Screen customers against sanctions and watchlists.

  • Identify potential fraud, money laundering, or financial crime risks.

  • Review and escalate alerts as per defined procedures.

  • Support investigation of flagged cases.

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for issue resolution.

• Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate customer and compliance records.

  • Update compliance systems and databases.

  • Support preparation of compliance reports.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Assist with audit and compliance reviews.

• Daily Operations

  • Solve routine compliance-related issues using established procedures.

  • Work within predefined guidelines and instructions.

  • Meet productivity and quality targets.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors.

  • Work in rotational shifts as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Any Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree)

EXPERIENCE

0–1 Year of Experience

  • Freshers are eligible to apply.

  • Experience in KYC, AML, Compliance, Banking Operations, or Risk Management is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Strong interest in compliance and financial services is advantageous.
