Job Overview

Accenture is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Associate to support control testing and compliance activities within an Agile delivery environment. This role is ideal for professionals with SOX testing and compliance experience who are looking to grow their careers in regulatory operations while contributing to intelligent, data-driven compliance transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients in transitioning compliance functions from reactive to proactive operating models using data and intelligent technologies.

  • Perform control testing activities, including SOX testing, in accordance with defined methodologies and regulatory requirements.

  • Execute testing tasks within Agile frameworks, supporting sprint-based delivery and integration processes.

  • Document test results, identify control gaps, and support issue remediation activities.

  • Follow established compliance guidelines, SOPs, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate task execution.

  • Maintain proper documentation to support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory reviews.

  • Work as an individual contributor within a structured team environment with a focused scope of responsibilities.

  • Participate in rotational shifts, as required by business operations.


Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, SOX testing, internal controls, or risk and control testing.

  • Prior exposure to Agile testing environments or technology-enabled compliance programs is preferred.


Educational Qualifications

  • Any Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in any discipline).


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on experience or working knowledge of SOX control testing.

  • Basic understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks.

  • Ability to analyze routine compliance issues using established guidelines and precedents.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team under moderate supervision.

  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

  • Willingness to follow standardized processes and instructions.
