Role Overview

As a Rare Disease Manager, you will engage with key healthcare providers, drive disease awareness, and optimize patient access to innovative therapies. You will play a pivotal role in brand adoption and establishing leadership in rare disease treatment. This position requires strategic planning, market education, and collaborative engagement with healthcare professionals to enhance diagnosis and treatment pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic territory plan, leveraging market insights and customer needs to drive product adoption and sales.
  • Enhance disease awareness and streamline patient referral pathways to reduce diagnosis time.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key accounts, optimizing sales coverage and engagement.
  • Share market intelligence and collaborate with internal teams to refine brand strategies and tactical execution.
  • Represent the company at scientific conferences and provide customer insights to enhance value-driven solutions.
  • Ensure ethical and compliant engagement with stakeholders while demonstrating a deep understanding of the therapeutic landscape.

Requirements

  • Education: Scientific Bachelor’s Degree or certification under § 75 AMG.
  • Experience: Proven track record in rare disease management, key account engagement, and drug product launches. Experience in hospital networks and Centers of Excellence preferred.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and proficiency in CRM and Microsoft tools.
  • Languages: Native German and fluent English (scientific comprehension required).
  • Other: Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the territory.
