Job Summary:
Cognizant is hiring a seasoned Program Director with deep life sciences experience to lead large-scale, complex programs involving application development, infrastructure, and digital transformation. Based in Bangalore, this hybrid position is ideal for professionals with 15+ years of experience in program delivery within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries. You'll manage client relationships, drive strategic outcomes, and lead cross-functional teams across global geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead program governance including stakeholder management, change control, and benefits tracking
Oversee end-to-end delivery estimation, planning, and execution across multiple service lines
Ensure consistent program performance using KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics
Collaborate with commercial and account teams to grow business and enhance client value
Manage communication with senior-level client stakeholders across geographies
Ensure compliance with contracts (MSA/SOW) and drive risk mitigation strategies
Support structured deals, takeovers, or divestitures and transformational engagements
Lead and mentor high-performing program management teams globally
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years in program delivery, strategy, stakeholder engagement, and IT transformation
Proven delivery of 3+ complex programs involving large, multi-geo teams (140+ members)
Deep knowledge of legacy modernization and digital transformation programs
Strong background in life sciences or healthcare domain
Certified in PMI, SAFe 5.0, Prince II, and mandatory ITIL practices
Expertise in contract management and multicultural stakeholder engagement
Familiarity with delivering niche domain or technology capabilities to market
