Job Summary:
The Production Manager will oversee personnel, equipment, and material resources in alignment with established policies, procedures, and sales forecasts. This role ensures production plans are fulfilled on time, at quality, and within budget, in compliance with current GMP regulations under NOM-059.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate departmental personnel to meet production schedules with quality and specification compliance.

  • Ensure facilities, machinery, and production equipment meet regulatory standards.

  • Maintain and enforce accurate documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices.

  • Guarantee availability of production inputs to support manufacturing continuity.

  • Evaluate implementation of new manufacturing processes or equipment to enhance quality and productivity.

  • Ensure labor relations align with NOM-059, safety regulations, labor laws, and internal policies; support training and evaluation efforts.

  • Fulfill production schedules for various lines to ensure timely delivery to the Distribution Center (CEDIS).

  • Control departmental budgets by monitoring expenses and costs to meet financial targets.

  • Report and escalate equipment failures, coordinating maintenance to maintain production schedules.

  • Rigorously control compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and address deviations with appropriate actions.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or Pharmaceutical fields (required)

Technical Skills:

  • SAP R3

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Microsoft Project

  • Intermediate English proficiency

Competencies & Abilities:

  • Build successful teams through alignment and commitment

  • Calmness under pressure

  • Delegation and development of direct reports

Experience:

  • 5+ years in similar roles

  • Strong knowledge of NOM-059

  • Experience handling internal/external audits

  • Proficient in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
