Principal Statistician – Remote (USA) | EVERSANA

Job Summary:
EVERSANA is hiring a Principal Statistician to provide biostatistical leadership across a range of HEOR, HTA, and RWE projects. This remote, full-time role offers the opportunity to design and implement advanced statistical analyses including indirect treatment comparisons, Bayesian methods, and real-world data evaluations. Ideal for experienced professionals skilled in R programming and statistical modeling, this position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 to $140,000 and the chance to shape next-generation healthcare solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead statistical projects across HEOR, RWE, and HTA domains (e.g., NMA, MAIC, PSM, IPD analyses)

  • Design statistical analysis plans and execute coding and quality control activities

  • Support evidence synthesis and interpret statistical data for client deliverables

  • Guide manuscript, technical reports, presentations, and regulatory documents

  • Mentor junior statisticians and provide leadership in project teams

  • Coordinate with IT on platform optimization and data security compliance

  • Drive innovation via R, Shiny, JAGS, and other statistical tools

  • Collaborate with business development teams on proposal inputs

  • Stay current on emerging methodologies and statistical approaches


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in HEOR, HTA, or health research

  • Proven expertise in R programming and reproducible workflows (Git, AWS S3, RMarkdown, Shiny)

  • Experience with statistical methods like NMA, MAIC, PSM, and Bayesian modeling

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Experience mentoring and supervising junior statisticians
