📌 Job Summary

As a Principal Statistical Programmer (P23 Level), you’ll be a senior-level individual contributor providing leadership, expertise, and execution for programming tasks within clinical trials. You will be responsible for statistical data management, coding, reporting, mentoring, and ensuring regulatory compliance.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain statistical programming standards and best practices

  • Lead and guide the development of statistical programs

  • Collaborate with statisticians and stakeholders to define and meet programming needs

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across statistical outputs

  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues

  • Mentor junior programmers and provide technical training

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives

  • Design and implement efficient programming solutions to meet project specifications

  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback

  • Stay updated with advancements in statistical programming tools and regulations


📚 Qualifications

Education:

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in statistical programming, ideally in clinical research or pharma

  • Hands-on expertise with SAS, R, or Python

  • In-depth understanding of CDISC (SDTM, ADaM) and statistical methodologies

Certifications:

  • SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 (preferred)

  • Strong expertise in statistical programming and data analysis

  • Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to lead projects and work independently

  • Create complex datasets, tables, listings, and graphs
