As a Principal Statistical Programmer (P23 Level), you will serve as a technical expert and project leader, developing statistical programs to support clinical trial reporting and regulatory submissions. You will work in collaboration with statisticians, clinical teams, and programming peers, and are expected to contribute to team leadership and innovation.

This role is suited for an immediate joiner with a strong background in clinical programming and advanced proficiency in SAS, R, or Python.


πŸ”§ Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain programming standards and best practices

  • Design and implement efficient, scalable programming solutions

  • Provide technical leadership across multiple projects

  • Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and stakeholders

  • Create and validate TFLs (Tables, Listings, Figures) and ADaM/SDTM datasets

  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality

  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with industry standards

  • Mentor junior programmers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming-related issues

  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and techniques

πŸ“š Education

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

πŸ’Ό Experience

  • Extensive experience in statistical programming within:

    • Pharmaceutical / biotechnology / CRO environments

    • Regulatory submission (e.g., CDISC, SDTM, ADaM)

  • Experience in leading programming activities and mentoring staff

πŸ’» Technical Skills

  • Expertise in:

    • SAS (Base, Macro, SQL)

    • R and/or Python

  • Deep understanding of statistical methods, clinical trial design, and regulatory compliance


πŸ… Preferred Certifications

  • SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 or equivalent
