Position Overview

Pediatric Associates is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the operations of the Northside location in Jacksonville, FL. This leadership role involves managing office activities, staff, and operational performance, ensuring smooth functioning of both clinical and administrative processes while promoting excellent patient care.

Primary Functions

  • Staff management: Ensure adequate staffing levels and create weekly schedules, conduct staff evaluations, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Operations management: Oversee front office, clinical operations, financial performance, inventory management, and charge posting.
  • Patient care flow: Contribute to improving patient care efficiency and handling patient-related processes (check-in, check-out, appointments, copay collections).
  • Inventory & supplies: Manage medical equipment, supplies, and vaccine storage, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Compliance & reporting: Enforce company policies, ensure AAAHC standards are met, and manage reporting (Duplicate Charge Report, Copay Report, etc.).
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with staff and clinicians via email and meetings, ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (or commensurate experience).
  • Experience: Preferably 2 years in a medical office setting, with knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Certifications: Active CPR certification required.
  • Skills: Proficient in managing office operations, patient care, and staff, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
