🧪 About the Role

Fortrea, a leading global Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Clinical Pharmacology team in Daytona Beach, Florida.

In this PRN role, you will support communication and interaction with clinical trial participants, regulatory bodies, and internal clinical teams. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality clinical operations while contributing to the advancement of early phase clinical research.

You’ll work closely with some of the world’s top pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies during vital stages of drug development, focusing on the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of new therapies.


🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize clinical skills and judgment to perform accurate data entry and quality control of clinical data, including lab ranges, into electronic databases

  • Conduct physical examinations, medical histories, and other participant assessments as delegated by the Medical Director

  • Serve as a technical advisor to clinical teams and other Clinical Pharmacology departments

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies relevant to clinical operations

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of clinical facilities and operational processes

  • Participate in clinical feasibility reviews of new study proposals

  • Oversee and ensure adherence to quality systems and compliance with FDA/GCP/ICH regulations

  • Perform routine study-related activities as needed

  • Undertake additional duties as assigned


🎓 Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current NP certification and licensure
    OR

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA-C certification and licensure

  • 3 to 5 years of related clinical or research experience

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated clinical research environment

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with electronic data capture systems
