Role Overview:

As a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate, you will be aligned with Accenture's Life Sciences R&D vertical, focusing on pharmacovigilance and drug safety. This role involves case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, submission, and follow-up for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) according to client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management & Data Entry:

    • Manage case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, and submission for ICSRs.
    • Perform written follow-up attempts for both Serious and Non-serious cases.
  • Report Reconciliation:

    • Reconcile reports per established processes.
    • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of cases as per guidelines.
  • Routine Problem Solving:

    • Solve routine pharmacovigilance-related problems using precedents and general guidelines.
    • Apply general guidelines to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Team Interaction:

    • Collaborate within your team and with your direct supervisor.
    • Be an individual contributor with a predetermined scope of work.
  • Shift Work:

    • This role may require working in rotational shifts.
