Pharmacovigilance Services Associate at Accenture – Bengaluru

Job Summary

Accenture is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate for its Bengaluru office. This full-time, on-site position offers a great opportunity for B.Pharm or M.Pharm graduates with 1 to 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance operations. The role involves case processing, MedDRA coding, regulatory compliance, and safety data management, supporting global biopharma clients to ensure drug safety and patient welfare.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage affiliate mailbox and perform reconciliation of safety reports as per process.

  • Conduct written follow-ups for serious and non-serious cases.

  • Perform case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, processing, and submission in the safety database.

  • Ensure compliance with client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.

  • Solve routine problems using established guidelines.

  • Work as an individual contributor within a defined scope of responsibilities.

  • May be required to work in rotational shifts.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm).

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years in pharmacovigilance and drug safety operations.

  • Familiarity with MedDRA coding and PV software.

  • Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements for ICSR processing.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow predefined guidelines.

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
