Pharmacovigilance Services Associate Job Overview

Accenture is hiring Pharmacovigilance Services Associates for its Bengaluru office. This opportunity is ideal for B.Pharm graduates and pharmacovigilance freshers who are looking to build a career in drug safety, adverse event reporting, ICSR processing, MedDRA coding, and pharmacovigilance operations.

Selected candidates will work with global pharmaceutical safety databases and support adverse event case processing activities in compliance with international regulatory guidelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform case identification and intake for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)

  • Conduct adverse event data entry into pharmacovigilance safety databases

  • Perform MedDRA coding for adverse events and medical history

  • Process and manage pharmacovigilance cases as per client SOPs and global regulatory guidelines

  • Handle follow-ups and case reconciliation activities

  • Ensure timely submission of safety reports

  • Support drug safety surveillance and pharmacovigilance operations

  • Maintain quality compliance and data accuracy during case processing

  • Collaborate with internal pharmacovigilance teams and supervisors

  • Follow international pharmacovigilance regulations and reporting timelines


Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety

  • Knowledge of ICSR processing and adverse event reporting

  • Familiarity with MedDRA terminology is preferred

  • Good communication and analytical skills

  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy

  • Ability to work in rotational shifts

  • Team collaboration and problem-solving abilities

  • Understanding of global regulatory guidelines is an added advantage

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

Experience:

  • Freshers can apply
