Discover Impactful Work:

As a Pharmacovigilance Manager, you will lead safety responsibilities for one or more programs. This role involves coordinating staffing, training, and procedural compliance while ensuring consistent internal processes. You will collaborate with senior management, liaise with the Project Manager and clients, and ensure the safety team delivers optimal performance.

A Day in the Life:

  • Monitor and evaluate risks to pharmacovigilance (PV) project deliverables and finances, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Manage project finances and make decisions regarding scope increases to ensure profitability.
  • Lead safety reporting functions, including timelines and tasks/results.
  • Coordinate operational, tactical, and governance calls with clients.
  • Prepare and attend client audits/inspections.
  • Ensure communication and coordination with other teams on project-related issues.
  • Oversee the generation of key project metrics.
  • Maintain budget oversight, handle contractual activities, and ensure targets are met.
  • Lead departmental initiatives to enhance project and team performance.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification.
  • 3+ years of safety experience, with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in pharmacovigilance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of PV and global regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and safety databases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and other languages as needed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
